KINDERGARTEN and FIRST GRADE SUMMER
(for children beginning fall Kindergarten or repeating Kindergarten, and children entering First Grade in the in the Fall.)

Summer Activities
Our summer Kindergarten and First grade program is comprised of activities on site, including a readiness skills program computer lab; outside games; field trips; and theme days. Kindergarten and First children have their own activity rooms, playground, lunch area, and do not mix with children of any other age. Children bring their own lunches, we provide a.m. and p.m. snacks.

Readiness Skills:
• Help children prepare for the structure of Kindergarten

• Science activities

• Arts & Crafts

• Large motor skills

• Computer lab provides a variety of educational games promoting readiness

• Safety skills, Manners

Field Trips:
•Two half day field trips each week involve local parks, wading pools, etc.

• One full day (9:00 — 4:00) field trip each week to destinations such as Happy Hollow, The Jungle, Bumper Bowling, S.F. Zoo, and Bamboola.
