FIELD TRIP GUIDELINES
information to help your child be properly prepared for each field trip:
PDCC continues to maintain an open door policy for parents. However, we prefer that you do not join your child on field trips for the following reasons:
- We have had a few instances where the non-custodial parent has appeared, creating major problems.
- When a parent appears with older or younger siblings, they are often unaware of our standards of behavior which can create discipline problems.
- Children may want to go with their parent or older sibling instead of staying with the group, and by law, we cannot allow this.
GENERAL FIELD TRIP GUIDELINES :
Children must be at PDCC by the designated field trip time in order to participate in the field trip. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Children must be transported to and from all field trips by PDCC. NO EXCEPTIONS!
No cell phones allowed at PDCC.
ROLLER SKATING : Children must have socks or tights. Hats are not allowed at the skating rink.
SWIMMING TRIPS : Children must wear a swimsuit under their clothes. Children need to bring a towel (please label), sunscreen nd extra t-shirt.
ALL DAY TRIPS : For all day field trips, we recommend a bag lunch with all disposable containers so your child will not have to carry a lunch box all day.
